This policy explains what information Loveland Hearts (lovelandhearts.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.
- Order information. When you buy something, you enter your name, email address, payment details, and (for printed cards) shipping address on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. We receive your name, email, shipping address if applicable, and what you ordered. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment.
- Card images you upload. When you order a printed card, the image you upload is stored with our hosting provider so it can be sent to our print partner. We use it only to fulfill your order and handle any reprint, and we'll delete it on request.
- Unlock codes. After a digital purchase you receive an unlock code. When you enter it in Card Studio, the code is checked against our order records, and your browser remembers that it's unlocked (using local storage on your device).
We don't require accounts, and we don't ask for sensitive information.
How we use it
- To run, secure, and improve the site.
- To reply to messages and requests you send us.
- To process and deliver your order, send order and shipping emails, and handle returns, refunds, and customer support.
- To keep records we're required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Cookies
This site doesn't show ads or use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
Services we use
We share information only with the services that help us run the site, and only what they need:
- Netlify hosts the site and stores uploaded card images.
- Google Fonts delivers the site's typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
- Stripe processes payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Make.com runs our order automation (passing order details to our print partner and sending confirmation emails).
- Prodigi prints and ships printed cards, so it receives your name, shipping address, and card image. See Prodigi's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept by our host for a limited time. Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfillment, customer support, and tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep by law). To make a request, email us at hello@valentinestation.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, or the EU), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
